I had not always been in the field of bio-energetic medicine. I had been in communications for most of my adult life.

In the late 1990s, I was a communications consultant for a major hospital. It was a very stressful situation, as I was helping physicians to adapt to the procedures of managed care. At the end of this stressful assignment, I developed a terrible case of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. It was not a small case -- it was debilitating. I barely had the energy to get out of bed. The pain was so intense that I could not sleep for more than two hours at a stretch. At the time I had two daughters in college, so I could not just retire. I had to make a living. But after several months of this dilemma I knew I would not be around forever if I did not find a solution. I tried every aspect of traditional medicine for months, with no help.

Finally, I heard about a young practitioner and his wife, Michael and Marianne Kilmartin, who had just returned from San Diego where they trained on a new machine from Germany, called the Bicom. Friends told me about them and after a few sessions with them in their home, I began to feel a change. It was an amazing experience to watch this system in action. The Bicom was built around the principles of Bioresonance. They used thousands of small amouple-type vials to re-set the frequencies of the human body. Many of my frequencies were “off” because I had worked as a television producer in studios for long hours with tons of electronic equipment. I was overloaded with EMFs, or electro-magnetic frequencies. The Bicom began to correct my system.

After two months of working on the Bicom with Michael and Marianne, my health was 90% improved. And I was ready to move forward – with a new career. They encouraged me to enter their field because, as they said, there should be a Bicom in every neighborhood in the USA. And I agreed!

So I headed out to San Diego myself to study the Bicom and get my degree in bioresonance. After 4 months of training, in January of 2000, I was ready to start my practice!

I began in a single room as a one-man practice, in an office setting that was comprised of 7 offices that were all occupied by people in alternative healthcare. My new work was interesting and rewarding and I began making a good living -- right from the outset!

My practice grew by word of mouth, and by the end of the year I had over 200 clients. During the first year, my wife and I managed to take a vacation in Europe – to France, Germany and Italy. In Germany I met with a Bicom practitioner in her small but successful practice and learned even more about the Bicom. I loved my new profession.

In the next year, I was going to buy another Bicom as one machine was no longer enough for my growing practice. I mentioned this to a fellow-student I had met at Bicom School who now had her own practice in Oregon. “Why would you buy another Bicom?” she asked. You should get a QXCI. It’s a fabulous machine -- and it will enable you to do so much more!” The year was 2001. Few people knew of the QXCI -- now referred to as the EPFX. I did not even have a demo or a brochure. On the faith of her recommendation I bought my first QXCI direct from Budapest. It was a decision I have never regretted, as the EPFX system is the backbone of our practice.
